"I grew up in an Italian household and, of course, there was always cooking and baking going on. It seems that I have loved cooking and baking since I can remember. But through most of my life, I have only cooked and baked out of necessity. Here I am, retired, and finally doing what I love to do the most and what I do best…dealing with foods. Some of my recipes are from my childhood and are quite unique and some I have put quite a twist on, i.e. I not only make normal size quiche, but also mini quiche, and multiple varieties. I have the most popular American cookie, the chocolate chip and the most popular Italian cookie, the biscotti. I make an American favorite dessert, the New York cheese cake and I make the Italian version, the Ricotta pie. I try to keep my Italian heritage going and at the same time have favorite American choices.
