2018 Ludlow's Farmer Market Vendors

Our 2018 market included a wide range of diverse growers, purveyors, and artisans. The market runs every Friday in the summer from 4-7 PM on the front lawn of the Okemo Mountain School. The majority of vendors listed below are full-time vendors (they are there most every Friday this season) though there are several who attend the market half of the season or for just a few dates over the course of the summer.

Baby bibs-several styles and sizes, including pullover and snap, soft toys, plus burp cloths for baby, reading pillows. Many of Anne's popular items, especially bibs and burps cloths, were sold in a Ludlow shop for years and years. She loves making thing for babies with a smattering of gifts for older kiddos.

Lamb, raspberries, blueberries. Powered by the Sun, Wind and Horses! The farm is a traditional Vermont hill farm, sustainably powered by a balance of new and old technology. They heat their home with wood, generate their own electricity and hot water with solar panels and a wind turbine. The farm and forestry are horse and biodiesel powered. Smokeshire Hill Top Farm produces five varieties of raspberries, three varieties of blueberries, lamb and firewood. The lamb is grass fed and humanly raised.

Eggs from pasture raised chickens, a variety of pasture raised, whey fed pork including chops, roasts, ribs, bacon, and four types of sausage. 100% grass fed beef and pasture raised broilers. Strawberries, blueberries, and a limited variety of veggies. SpringMore Farm practices intensive rotational grazing. The pigs are fed whey from a local cheese maker and spent grains from a local distillery that uses Vermont grown, non GMO corn. The poultry is pasture raised and their diet is supplemented with non GMO grain. Their small fruits and veggies are "beyond organic". We do not spray anything or use synthetic fertilizers.
